Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help to maintain a high degree of housekeeping in the entire laboratory.
- Support environmental requirements including the proper disposal of lab generated waste.
- Learn and perform essential chemical tests like pH and Tower Analysis.
- Assure the inventory of solvents and oils used in the laboratory are at acceptable levels.
- Assure the inventory of compressed gases used in the laboratory is at acceptable levels.
- File (and dispose of) samples pertaining to the QA retain system. This may include the sample retrieval of requested retains.
- Run errands to Shipping and to Central Stores as requested.
- Wash and Clean Laboratory Glassware.
- Efficiently handle a forklift.
- Learn and maintain the basic computer skills necessary to do the daily work.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to function in a team environment by working well with others.
- Demonstrate dependability by maintaining a high standard of attendance.
- Establish credibility through timely and accurate task completion.
- Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to support 24/7 operations.
- Ability to discern colors, read burettes, and have physical capability to operate instrumental analysis equipment.
- Expected to use appropriate PPE and occasional usage of respirator.

Considered a Plus:
- Working knowledge of SAP and other computer software.

Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to support 24/7 operations.
- Ability to discern colors, read burettes, and have physical capability to operate instrumental analysis equipment.
- Expected to use appropriate PPE and occasional usage of respirator.
