Job Description
Vector Technical has partnered with a company in Mentor, Ohio that manufactures precision tight tolerance small parts. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team!
Direct HireÂ
1st Shift - 8 hour shift with flexible start times available
Pay is dependent upon experience, from $24-$30/hr.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspect and test machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Order parts, supplies or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
• Dismantle machines or equipment to access and remove defective parts using necessary tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts; checking fluid levels; replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Plan and lay out repair work – using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals or schematic diagrams.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate or repair counters, benches, partitions, or other structures.
• Provide grounds keeping services, such as landscaping or snow removal.
• Perform general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
Requirements:
• 3+ years Maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED.
