Job Description
Vector's partner located in Willoughby is the largest custom roll former in the US, serving wide range of industries.
They are in need of a Roll Forming Quality Technician to join their team.
2nd Shift: M-Th 3p-1:30a (10-hr shifts)
$19.50+/hr., depending upon experience and skills
Direct Hire may be a possibility for this position
Position Summary:
The quality technician is responsible for the inspection of product quality using specifications given.
Areas of Responsibility:

Position Summary:
The quality technician is responsible for the inspection of product quality using specifications given.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications.
- Provide all necessary paperwork to shop floor for production.
- Provide all necessary measuring equipment and tools to production.
- Calibrate all measuring instruments in house and maintain instruments.
- Assist in maintenance of the ISO 9001 program.
- Report and assist in answering any questions on customer specifications brought forth by the production employees.
- Regularly inspect material being produced.
- Aid in evaluation that all quality procedures are being followed and implemented.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of measurement techniques, especially with large production pieces (must be able to move and manipulate large pieces to obtain quality measurements)
- Roll Forming experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to communicate techniques to employees.
