Job Description
Vector Technical's partner in Wickliffe, OH, is a world leader in the fast-paced, high-tech industry of investment casting. They are looking for a Shipping Associate to join their team!
1st Shift 10a-6p
$18/hr.
Shipping clerks working under direct supervision to complete basic shipping and receiving tasks such as:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Verifying packaging slips and order contents
- Performing visual inspection
- Packaging product for either outside processing or finished goods.
Level one shipping clerks will demonstrate basic packaging skills such as:
- Part protection
- Verify packaging information
- Boxing, taping, wrapping, stenciling, banding, weighing, etc.
Requirements:
- All shipping and rec. clerks must have a valid driver's license and will be driving/delivering cores on company truck.Â
- Will be forklift certified.
- Must have good computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Will be using Fed Ex and other carriers' online and export software.
- 1-3 years of experience is preferred.
