Vector's partner in Medina, OH has been in the manufacturing business for well over 100 years.  They are looking for two Machine Operators to join their team!

Available Shifts:
2nd Shift Extruder Operator (2p-10p) - Must be able to train on 1st shift M-F 6a-2p for 6-8 weeks. - $17/hr. 
2nd Shift LEAD position on high priority line (2p-10p) - Must be able to train on 1st shift M-F 6a-2p for 8-12 weeks  - $19/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Produces candles and related products using several processes including, but not limited to, pouring, extruding, pressing, and dipping.

• Measures, records, and adjusts machines to maintain product consistency according to documented process and quality specifications. Records this data into the production tracking system.

• Minimizes downtime and scrap and makes recommendations on improving performance.

• Performs pre-shift inspections and trouble-shoots machines and raw materials issues.
• Performs machine/product changeovers including changing of dies, molds, wax blends, wick, blocks, fill heights and cutting blades.

• Works and communicates with other functional and support departments as needed.
• Able to work extended shifts and hours, including holidays and weekends, to meet business needs.
• Keeps work area safe, clean, and orderly.
• Able to perform other tasks as assigned or needed.
