Vector Technical has partnered with a world leader in structural investment castings, forged components and airfoil castings manufacturing high-quality casting for engine and industrial gas turbines.  This Client offers overtime and bonus availability when hired in. They are in need of Wax Sub Assemblers to join their growing team!

2nd Shift - 3p-11p   $18/hr. + $2.10/hr. shift diff = $20.10/hr.

The sub-assembly operator must be able to perform all operations and operate the equipment efficiently when making set-ups for assembly.
 

Responsibilities:

• Perform all sub-assembly operations.
• Must be to routinely lift up to 35 lbs.
• Run all jobs according to written procedures.
• Keep wax melting pots filled at all times.
• Clean plugs (DS rods), etc.
• Organize/put away supplies, plates, sprue, etc.
• Check quality on patterns, gating, sprues, sub-assemblies.
• Follow all procedures.
• Meet the specific requirement of the efficiency standards.
• Record all work performed on the daily distribution card.
• Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Wears proper PPE at all times
• Perform other duties that are assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be able to learn job specifications that are required by new customers, including existing customers with changes in job specifications
• Dressing experience preferred.
• Good attendance record - no written warnings or higher.
• Flexible between assembly and wax dressing
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Teamwork essential
• Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions
• Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required)
• Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required)
• Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required)
