Vector Technical's partner is an equipment manufacturer in the mobile food service industry, and they're hiring a Press Brake Setup/Operator for 2nd shift. This role requires hands-on press brake setup and precision forming work--it is not a "button pusher" position.

Shift / Pay

• 2nd Shift
• $26/hr. while temp
• Increase to $27.31/hr. at hire-in + 2nd shift differential

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a press brake to produce parts to print/spec
• Select and install the correct tooling (top/bottom dies, punches) for each job
• Perform first-piece checks and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
• Maintain quality and productivity standards in a production environment

Qualifications

• Strong experience setting up and running press brake equipment (setup experience required; not just running pre-set programs)
• Experience on Trumpf and Amada is preferred
  • Cincinnati press brake experience will also be considered
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with calipers and micrometers
• Strong understanding of tooling selection/setup (which dies to pull, proper setup for the job)
