Job Summary:
Set-up and operate Mazak CNC HBM machining centers to produce machined components to blueprint specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate CNC machining centers to manufacture components to blueprint specifications
- Set up tooling, load programs into the machine tool, touch off tooling, probe fixture offsets, and adjust offsets as required
- Inspect parts utilizing basic measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, thread gauge, pins etc.
- Maintain written documentation of in-process inspection reporting and set up sheets.
- Utilize ERP system for on-the-job reporting and inventory transactions.
- Deburr, Scotch-Brite, and perform finishing operations as required on machined components.
- Participate in good housekeeping practices to ensure our 5s standards, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to do basic arithmetic
- Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Solid work history
- Blueprint reading experience with the ability to read and interpret geometric tolerances
- Ability to use basic measuring tools tape measure, scale, and dial calipers.
- Willing to train right candidate.
