Job Description

Vector Technical's partner in Wickliffe, OH, is a world leader in the fast-paced, high-tech industry of investment casting.  They have an immediate need for a Slurry Tech.

2nd Shift
$18/hr. + $2.10/hr. shift diff = $20.10/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep manufacturing supplied with required approved slurries at all times through formulation, maintenance and testing of binders and IGT slurry tanks.
  • Formulate Low Pressure Slurry and maintain slurry tanks as defined by written procedures.
  • Perform standard tests for slurry and binder properties at required intervals as defined by written procedures.
  • Clean and maintain slurry tanks, alcohol rinse buckets, ladles, mixing blades, tabletops, scales and other equipment.
  • Sweep work area floors at least once per shift.

Requirements:
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.
  • Must be willing to volunteer for weekend overtime.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and internal employees.
