This is your chance to join a highly respected chemical plant team as a Fire Maintenance Assistant—a hands-on role where every day brings something different.
You’ll work side-by-side with an experienced Facilities Protection Technician and gain exposure to emergency response vehicles, fire protection equipment, and industrial safety systems. If you’ve ever considered fire, EMS, or plant operations, this is a strong stepping-stone.
1st Shift 7a-3:30p
$18 - $24/hr., depending upon skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
You’ll be trusted to keep critical safety systems ready at all times. Your day may include:
- Inspecting and maintaining emergency vehicles
- Working with SCBAs & breathing air compressors
- Checking fire pumps, hydrants, hoses, and suppression systems
- Completing inspection documentation
- Supporting daily maintenance tasks
- Assisting with minor chemical cleanup operations (training provided)
- This role gives you real responsibility and the opportunity to grow in the fire protection and industrial safety field.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
- You learn quickly, work safely, and follow clear instructions
- Comfortable climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working hands-on
- You communicate well and work great with a team
- Organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- Valid Driver’s License
Considered a Plus:
- Experience with fire equipment or emergency response
- Fire department, military, or chemical plant experience
Working Conditions:
- Must be willing/able to work in a chemical plant environment
- Must be willing/able to occasionally work outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to work overtime/weekends, as required
