Job Description
Our client, a leading innovator in engineered heat treating, brazing and metal finishing solutions is seeking a Coating Technician for a position at their plant in Willoughby, Ohio!
1st Shift
$18.75hr.
Responsibilities:
- Properly prepare Gopalite Slurry, binder, and associated additives needed for the mixing process.
- Load and unload parts per work instructions.
- Master basic coating operations to attain production goals
- Follow production schedule
- Monitor all equipment gages throughout the shift and notify the Dept Supervisor of any anomalies.
- Maintain Lot control
- Have basic working knowledge of the use of various measurement instruments.
- Log daily activities
- Perform required material handling using a forklift or load cart when necessary.
- Assist production on Belt Furnaces
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of basic math and mechanical principles.
- Prior experience in a similar or related position is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
- Must be able to lift 65 lbs. occasionally
