Vector Technical's partner is an equipment manufacturer in the mobile food service industry.  They are searching for the right individual to fill their Customer Care Specialist position!

Job Summary

Provide timely and accurate information to both internal and external customers, covering areas such as equipment, shipping and order statuses.  Additionally, you will process customer orders and prepare written quotations for sales managers, company representative agencies, international distributors, dealers and end-users.  Additionally, you will respond to inquiries via phone and email related to domestic sales, international sales, parts and services.

Essential Functions

 • Responds to customer inquiries, sales manager inquiries, ship date inquiries, product spec information, order entry, and provides written bid quotations to both domestic and international sales teams and various other specific accounts.
Receives parts/service and troubleshooting calls and service website inquiries.
Responsible for daily sales activities for export sales, including order entry, price quotes, project follow-up and reporting; preparation of export documents for shipments; freight cost and package dimension estimates; coordination of exporting orders with freight forwarders; and response to website inquiries from international customers.
Trade show coordination at Taft - inspecting, loading, and unloading equipment and keeping track of the trade show stock.
Provides input and documentation during staff, production, internal sales and ECO meetings.
Works with engineering, manufacturing, production, and purchasing to provide the sales team and customers with product spec requirements and shipping information.
Must have the ability to work within our CRM system (Syteline).
Trade show set up and tear down.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; OR one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Syteline/Goldman

Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, business plans, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, customers, or vendors, etc.
