Experienced Maintenance Planner

We are seeking an Experienced Maintenance Planner to play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of maintenance operations. If you have a passion for planning, problem-solving, and making an impact, this role is for you!
Direct Hire
1st Shift: 7a-3:30p with occasional OT
Salary Range: $70k-$88k/yr.
There is a generous potential annual bonus target as well.
Location: Ashtabula, Ohio - a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub with a 45+ year legacy of excellence.
What You'll Do:
As an Experienced Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing maintenance plans that keep operations running smoothly. Your work will directly impact productivity, safety, and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating detailed, accurate job plans that optimize work execution, including drawings, instructions, tools, materials, and equipment lists.
- Developing and updating re-usable job plans to enhance efficiency.
- Estimating labor, materials, and service requirements to ensure cost-effective maintenance.
- Coordinating pre-job review meetings with contractors to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Managing procurement of maintenance materials, services, and equipment.
- Participating in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and problem-solving initiatives.
- Conducting inventory analysis, managing spare parts, and refining job plan execution.
- Acting as a liaison between contractors, vendors, and the maintenance team to ensure seamless operations.
What We're Looking For:
We are searching for a proactive, detail-oriented and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
- At least five years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and turnaround execution, ideally in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as pumps, piping, heat exchangers, and valves.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar CMMS systems for job planning and material management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
