Job Description
1st Shift 7a-3:30p with OT
$18-$24/hr.
Job Description:
As a key member of the fabrication team, you will work closely with experienced fabricators to assist in the creation and installation of custom countertops. This role requires attention to detail, physical dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining the company's high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior fabricators in measuring, cutting, and shaping various countertop materials, including granite, marble, quartz and other natural or engineered stones.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, including saws, grinders, polishers, and CNC machines.
- Prepare surfaces for fabrication, including cleaning, smoothing and polishing.
- Follow design specifications and ensure accuracy in measurements and cuts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of materials and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior fabricators.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Preferred skills:
- Previous experience in countertop fabrication or a similar role.
- Familiarity with countertop materials and fabrication techniques.
