**Base pay increases to $20.35/hr. once fully trained

Job Description
Vector Technical's partner is the largest privately held Heat Treat company in the US. This stable manufacturing company in Willoughby, OH, is seeking Heat Treat Specialists for their busy operation!
Available Shifts:
3rd Shift (10:30p-7a)Â Â - $19.57/hr. + $1.10 shift diff = $20.67/hr.
**Base pay increases to $20.35/hr. once fully trained

Responsibilities:
- Transport parts to the staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists or pallet jacks.
- Pack production parts to prepare for heat treatment or metal finishing.
- Load parts into hopper; set furnace; temper parts; quench; cool draw box; check specs.
- Unpack and re-pack finished parts into customer containers for shipment.
- Verify part numbers and match to shipping documents and work orders.Â
- Operate various equipment in the plant.
- Communicate production problems to a supervisor and/or operator.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep work area orderly.
Requirements of the Heat Treat Specialist:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is essential for success.
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
- Experience in heat treating is a plus.
