Job Description
Vector's partner located in Eastlake, Ohio is a global provider of hydraulic quick release couplers, valves and other hydraulic components. This family-owned company is in need of an Inside Sales Associate to join their team!
Temp-to-Perm opportunity
$20/hr.
Responsibilities:
Associates degree or equivalent sales/office experience
3 years of Sales or Customer Service experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Detail orientated Must be able to interact with customers. Experience with SAP or other order entry inventory management software desired.
Temp-to-Perm opportunity
$20/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and if necessary, redirect to the proper person.
- Resolve customer questions, problems, or grievances in a timely manner.
- Check general sales email box, process, or distribute as needed.
- Process quotations and enter sales orders in SAP that are received via fax and email, verify stock availability and available ship dates.
- Send order acknowledgements to customers.
- Communicate daily with management team, customers and outside sales team on delivery dates for new sales orders, potential shortages or stock needed.
- Inform Warehouse of outgoing credit card orders and/or process the credit card online.
- Maintain current customer information such as, but not limited to pricing, BP catalog numbers, delivery requirements, etc., within the SAP database.
- Update daily CAT, JCB and other OEM schedules, along with other customers that utilize an online system for ordering.
- Check CAT MRC twice daily for changes and/or collaborations, verify with management on feasibility of requirements.
- Complete and file Advance Shipping Notices for required customers, including preparing and sending of invoices.
- Send and file all outgoing customer invoices.
- Run various sales reports on a regular basis and send to required personnel in a timely fashion.
- Work with accounting to keep customer account balances up to date.
- Assist with customer surveys and special promotions.
Associates degree or equivalent sales/office experience
3 years of Sales or Customer Service experience
