Job Description
Vector's partner in Newbury, OH is one of the leading production centers in northeast Ohio with capability of manufacturing precision components and assemblies using CNC turning, milling, multi-axis mill turning and other processes. They are in need of a Lead Quality Inspector to join their team!
1st Shift
$18/hr.
** Must be able to train at Chardon location until fully trained, then move to Newbury location.

Essential Functions and Duties

Essential Functions and Duties
- Complete in-process and final inspections on all work cells using various hand measuring tools.
- Set up miscellaneous gauging as needed for production use.
- Perform 1st piece Inspections as needed.
- Provide various auditing needs such as process auditing and ISO auditing.
- Help provide guidance and training as needed to production associates.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum one Year QC Inspector experience
- Must be able to read blue prints.
- Proficient at using Comparators, Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gages, and Height Gages.
- Must be comfortable in an uncontrolled environment, as the shop floor can get hot in summer months.
