Job Description
Manufacturing HR Associate needed in Solon, OH!
Direct Hire
Pay is dependent upon experience, and open for discussion.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Human Resource associate will perform the daily functions of the HR department, reporting directly to the HR Director.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Performs routine HR tasks efficiently, upholding both company and federal/state/local standards.
• Background checks and employee eligibility verifications (E-Verify).
• Source and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, working with department heads to do so.
• Assure and document compliance with training and work assessments. This can include several areas such as safety training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Must have experience within a manufacturing setting.
• At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, prioritizing and delegating as appropriate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
