Job Description
Vector's partner located in Bedford Heights, OH, has been at the forefront of infrared combustion technology since 1957, boasting expertise in consumer heating products as well as heavy duty commercial and construction heating products.
They have a Material Handler position available for immediate fill, and will train the right individual!
** You must have forklift experience to be considered for this opportunity! **
Positions available in both Bedford Heights and Solon.
1st Shift M-F 7a-3:30p
$17-$17.50/hr. to start.
Eligible for a raise upon hire-in.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Eligible for a raise upon hire-in.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Transfer and document replenishment stock to pick locations as directed by system or pickers.
- Maintain and control inventory through proper bin moves and put away.
- Utilize RDS to look ahead to anticipate volume to prepare for bin replenishments.
- Responsible for inventory and order accuracy at all times.
- Operate forklift in a safe manner and maintain certification.
- Effectively communicate with pickers to provide finished goods in a timely fashion to maintain their productivity.
- Stock goods from trucks and containers.
- Document movement of finished goods to all locations.
- Unload incoming containers and trucks.
- High School graduate or equivalent experience
- Production or distribution background
- Must have forklift experience (will be tested during interview process)
- Organization, process, and detail oriented
- Inventory control knowledge
- Safety management knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Able to pass a drug screen - including nicotine test
- Must be able to handle varied building temperatures (warmer in the summer; cooler in the winter), as this facility is NOT climate-controlled.
