Job Description
Vector's aerospace partner is a major manufacturer in Eastlake, OH. They are in search of an NDT Level 1 X-Ray Associate to join their growing team!
3rd Shift 11p-7a $18/hr. + $2.10 shift diff = $20.10/hr.Â

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take radiographic images of castings.
- Develop film in the processor.
- Perform specific tests and calibrations and document the results in accordance with specific procedures.
- Assure parts are properly processed to the applicable QEI.
- Record all work performed in Lot Control System.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required for shipment purposes.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that is in harmony with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Â
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
- Adheres to plant and department safety rules.
- Safely operates all equipment and tools.
- Identifies and reports safety problems.
- Wears dosimeter.
- Meets all production and quality standards.
- May provide training and work direction to trainees.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.Â
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, follow and interpret instructions on QEI’s.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Pass annual eye exam.
- High School Graduate.
- Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.
- Computer and keyboarding skills required.
- Training is provided on the job.
- 40 hours classroom training.
- Must pass written test.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
