Are you looking to get your foot in the door with a growing and stable manufacturer? Our partner who has served the industrial thermal processing industry for more than 100 years is looking for an Operations Administrative Specialist to join their team!

1st Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Temp-to-Perm opportunity
$17-$19/hr., depending upon experience
$1.00 hourly increase upon hire-in

Position Summary:
The Operations Administrative Specialist is an office-based administrative team member with a focus on keeping information and documents updated and/or generated based on the ongoing changes in demand of the Operations Materials Management Team.

Responsibilities:
• Email and call vendors to obtain up-to-date Purchase Order status or communicate updated POs to vendors.
• Update ERP system and various planning tool data as available regarding Purchase Orders with minimal direction after initial training. (i.e., ETA, Cost)
• Share important and/or relevant information on a timely basis with key members of the Operations Team.
• Assist in the production of printed materials for the purpose of communicating work requirements of the shop team.
• Assist in the organization of printed materials within the Operations Materials Team.
• General data entry from manually gathered data.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on the varying needs of the business.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must possess strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and personal time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills including verbal expression and comprehension.
• Vendor relationship support.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Capable of multitasking.
• Computer proficiency in Windows-based software applications including Excel
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated and striving for perfection.

Experience / Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Above average math and organizational skills
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.

I absolutely love the personal and interpersonal aspects of keeping in touch with individuals throughout the recruiting process. Helping and learning a person’s preferences, both personally and professionally, over time helps me assist them in finding the jobs which make the most sense for them.

I graduated from The University of Akron in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a concentration on radio and TV. Prior to joining Vector Technical Inc., I spent time working as a radio personality/intern for Q104’s morning show, Fee’s Kompany in the Morning. From there, I spent a season working as an in-arena host for the Lake Erie Monsters (Cleveland Hockey Team). In 2013, I had the opportunity to work for WHNT News 19 in Huntsville, Alabama (Fox 8 Sister Station) as an interactive content reporter/producer.

Outside the office, I enjoy cooking, traveling, running, photography, crafting, concerts, and spending time with my family and friends.
