Production Associate and Installer

Job Description
$16-$20/hr., depending upon experience
Summary:
This role will support critical manufacturing processes in the workshop, including the manufacturing and assembly of shooting lanes, stick handling devices, and other products. This role is also expected to participate in the installation, disassembly, and relocation of products at customer locations within the United States and abroad.
In addition, this role may have responsibility/exposure to other duties, such as customer service and technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Performance of all manufacturing tasks in accordance with standard build sheets, including, but not limited to:
- Cutting and assembly of wood, metal, and plastic materials and systems
- General assembly of mechanical and electrical components
- Preparation of camera, software, and computer systems
- Assurance of quality in accordance with company standards
- Preparation of products for shipping to customer location
- Delivery to customer location via truck and trailer or shipping crate
- On-site installation/disassembly of components at customer location(s)
- System troubleshooting and customer service
- Member card printing and shipping
- Other tasks as required
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of experience working within a shop/manufacturing/installation environment
- Familiarity using standard workshop tools, such as saws, drills, routers, etc.
- Competency with computers and various Windows computer programs
- Willingness to learn new tasks and a positive attitude
- A strong commitment to safety within the working environment
- A valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Professional designations and post-secondary education are a plus (but not required)
- Experience playing, and knowledge of hockey is a plus
