Job Description
Vector's partner in Mentor, OH designs and manufactures conveyor systems. They are looking for a Sales Director to join their team!
Direct Hire
Salary around $60k/yr. and open for negotiation.
There is an annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Developing sales plans and budgets to achieve company goals.
- Responsible for key customer relationships
- Managing quote pipeline and tracking open quotes against close rate goal
- Managing lead generation for new accounts utilizing industry data, trade associations and customer referrals to new locations
- Setting new customer goals
- Managing the sales group including inside sales and estimating and outside sales representatives
- Tracking all customer relationships for service levels and new opportunities.
- Oversee management of CRM and training of sales representatives
- Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Oversee and review quotes by others in the dept and work closely with engineering as needed
- Assist with quoting process as needed to support estimating team.
- Confirming accuracy of all quotes with regard to engineering of the job, pricing and payment terms
- Travel to customers as needed and provide follow up field reports to management (20-25%)
- Provide sales and orders reports to management and key employees
- Advising and training distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
Marketing Responsibilities (Preferred but not Required)
- Oversees all marketing materials
- Create content for website and marketing information
- SEO program/digital marketing
- Develop knowledge of emerging trends in key markets
- Build marketing presence with key customers and new customers
- Leverage trade association data
Qualifications
- Experience with selling custom engineered industrial equipment
- 3-5 years experience preferred
- Demonstrated record of customer relationship building experience, customer acquisition and growing customer relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- CRM experience
- Experience in managing an inside team and outside sales representative teams
- College degree with some engineering training preferred
- Full time, on site
