Job Summary:
As a member of the Health Safety and Security group, the Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and protecting Wickliffe Corporate Headquarters facility employees and intellectual property from unauthorized personnel by observing and reporting suspicious activity and facilitating the response to emergency incidents to ensure a safe working environment for the employees, visitors, and community.

Job Summary:
As a member of the Health Safety and Security group, the Security Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and protecting Wickliffe Corporate Headquarters facility employees and intellectual property from unauthorized personnel by observing and reporting suspicious activity and facilitating the response to emergency incidents to ensure a safe working environment for the employees, visitors, and community.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the access control system to verify authorized personnel and visitorsÂ
- Process visitors, deliveries and contractors and direct to appropriate areas
- Monitor closed circuit television (CCTV) to identify deviations from normal operating conditions
- Provide detailed reports of daily activities and incidentsÂ
- Work with Health, Safety, and Environmental staff on shared initiativesÂ
- Ensure security and safety standards are being followedÂ
- Act as point of contact for internal and external responders during emergenciesÂ
- Dispatch emergency personnel in the event of a plant emergency
- Provide monitoring and communication support for chemical spills, accidents and security breachesÂ
- Monitor the fire and life safety systems (e.g., sprinklers) for upset conditions and notify appropriate personnelÂ
- Provide answering services during non-business hours (e.g., SDS requests, transportation incidents)
- Participate in internal and external auditsÂ
- Provide Monitoring support to HR during employee separations
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Perform daily checks of security systems and report any problems
- Provide gate coverage as needed
- Conduct patrols of site perimeter to verify standard conditions as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- At least two years of dispatching or Security related experience (preferred)
- Ability to organize and prioritize work Â
- Valid Driver’s LicenseÂ
- Ability to work in a team environmentÂ
- Possess basic computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritizeÂ
