Job Description
Our client, a manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical components in Painesville, OH, is seeking a Shipping specialist to join their talented team!
Direct Hire
8am - 5pm
Hourly depends on experience
Responsibilities:
- Pack and Ship product to meet customer delivery dates
- Generate ASNs per customer requirements
- Order and manage shipping supply inventory
- Reports directly to Production Manager
- Works closely with Materials Manager on customer expedites
- Mainly UPS and FedEx shipments, both domestic and international
Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet the majority of the day
- 3-5 years shipping experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Aerospace customer shipping experience is a plus (customer portals and ASNs)
