Job Description
Vector Technical's partner is a privately held Heat Treat company in Willoughby, Ohio, seeking the right candidate to fill their Shipping position.
Available Shifts:
2nd Shift - Starting pay is $19/hr.  MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT
** base rates increase to $19.65 once fully trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport parts to the staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists or pallet jacks.
- Load and unload trucks and vans, handle incoming inspection (i.e. weight, counts, and paperwork), and move parts to staging areas in the plant. Â
- Able to handle all tasks without supervision when training is complete.
- Ensure that all shipping activities are conducted in a safe manner.Â
- Verify part numbers and match to shipping documents and work orders.Â
- Operate various equipment in the plant.
- Communicate production problems to a supervisor and/or operator.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep work area orderly.
- Perform repetitive and detail oriented tasks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is essential for success.Â
- Experience in heat treating isn’t necessary, but a willingness to learn, grow, and improve your skills is.
