Job Description
Vector's partner in Willoughby, OH, is a manufacturer of machined components for the mining, and construction industries.
Due to an upcoming retirement, they are seeking a Shipping Supervisor for their team, to work and train with the retiring employee until the incumbent retires towards year's end.
1st Shift 6:30a-5:30p
Pay is dependent upon skill set, up to $24/hr.
This supervisory role will be hands-on, with a portion of your time spent on the production floor, finishing parts. This consists of deburring, etching, rust prevention, palletizing.
The other portion of your time will be spent doing shipping functions such as outside processing PO generation and receipt, packlists, bill-of-ladings, scheduling shipments, customer ASN's.
Your team will be comprised of yourself and 3 other finishing techs.
Requirements for the successful candidate will include:
Shipping experience
Supervisor/Lead experience
Good computer/ERP skills
The ability to not just direct your team, but work with your team.
