Job Description
Our client in Painesville, OH, designs and manufactures engineered products that satisfy the rigorous requirements of the aerospace industry. They are in need of an Onsite Helpdesk/Technical Support Specialist to join their successful operation.
1st Shift

** This is an On-Site position - it is NOT remote! **
You must open to some evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of the IT Manager, this position will provide daily support of all users and devices including, but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, tablets and smartphones.
- Administer, install or overhaul switches, firewalls, routers, telephone systems, internet services, collaborations all services, fax services and security services.
- Monitor the health of systems by providing thorough reviews of monitoring logs, application and security logs, archiving of data and purging of data.
- Interaction with users (employees, customers, guests) requires strong inter-personal communication and self-discipline skills, including conflict management and time management.
- Perform ad-hoc projects to fulfill business needs.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements: - Ensure system optimization by making recommendations to improve or enhance performance, anticipating future needs, ensuring compliance with software license and practicing proper backup and recovery methods.
- Complies and conducts business in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Promotes ethical behavior by acting with honesty and integrity.
- This position may require evening, weekend and holiday hours.
