Job Description

Vector's partner in Euclid, Ohio is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered castings and sub-assemblies primarily for the commercial aerospace, defense and industrial gas turbine markets. They are looking to add a Wax Inspector to their growing team! 

1st Shift or a Split Shift (1st/2nd)
$19 - $20+/hr., depending upon experience

Summary 
Ensure the quality preparation of wax patterns including dressing, assembling, and inspecting patterns to create a high quality wax configuration for mold processing.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Inspect mold configurations looking for any defects.
  • Repair any defects.
  • Record defects to identify where improvements can be made.
  • Provide feedback to individual assemblers and dressers.
  • Share feedback with Team Leader and Engineering Department.
  • Scan part into database to create operation routing path.
  • Adhere to and enforce proper safety/security procedures and protocol.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: One to three years in manufacturing. Experience in wax assembly or investment casting preferred.
