Job Description


Vector's partner in Wickliffe, OH, manufactures military and commercial turbine blades and vanes for aircraft and land-based applications. They need Wax Wall Inspectors to join their growing team!

 This Client offers overtime and bonus availability when hired in.

3rd Shift
$18/hr. plus $2.10 shift diff = $20.10/hr.
Must train on 1st or 2nd shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate Wax Wall Training and Certification for all Wax Wall Inspectors
  • Champion Wax Wall are scrap.  Interface with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering as required to ensure implementation of effective solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for methods and documentation improvement and train manufacturing associates on new procedures.
  • Perform workmanship audits to verify training effectiveness and compliance to procedure.
  • Perform product audits to assure quality of shipped parts
  • Follow safety rules.  (Specified safety glasses in all areas).
  • Properly identify your work performed in Lot Control and affix required identification.
  • Keep the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.
  • Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Significant experience in Wall (Wax or Metal) inspection.
  • Proven track record working in a team environment.
  • Must have experience training others successfully.
  • Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills.
  • Good attendance record – no written or higher warnings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
