Job Description
Vector Technical has partnered with this Industrial Refrigeration company in Ohio who specializes in providing process fluid heat transfer systems. They are currently seeking a 2G Welder/Fabricator for their expanding Plant.
1st Shift
Pay is dependent upon experience
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility is TIG/MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, (also aluminum) parts. Each job must be run accurately, safety and on time.
Job Description and Skills Required:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
- Inspect welds for accuracy
- Prepare product to be welding by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/stainless steel/aluminum parts
- Change wire, welding, as needed
- Change gas tanks, as needed
- Responsible for the proper packaging, identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location
- Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are properly used
- Operate fork lift, if required (and trained)
- Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections as required by RMF standards
- Monitor equipment and request maintenance when necessary
- Perform simple maintenance and repair when necessary
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Thorough knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills
- Problem solving ability
Job Description and Skills Required:
- Experience in piping (Carbon/Steel/Stainless Steel) sized from 1/4"Â to 8"Â pipe
- 2G Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
