Vector's client located in Ashtabula, OH serves the construction, plumbing and excavation trades by providing them with quality pipe tools. They are on the hunt for a Marketing Specialist to join their team!
Direct Hire
$50k-$60k/yr., depending upon experience.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for executing and coordinating the company's marketing activities across brand, product, sales support, channels, and trade shows. This position is designed for a motivated marketer who wants to grow into a Marketing Manager role over time through mentorship, increased responsibility, and real ownership. This role will work closely with the VP to learn company products, customers, channels, key marketing programs and culture.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution & Coordination
• Execute day-to-day marketing activities across digital, print, and channel support
• Create and update of catalogs, mini catalogs, sell sheets, spec sheets, and digital PDFs
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, files, and brand materials
• Support marketing campaigns and content creation & coordination
• Support CRM execution and management, including campaign setup, data hygiene, and basic reporting
Sales & Channel Support
• Support rep agencies and distributors with marketing materials and requests
• Assist with demo tools, customer trial programs, and rep demo kits
• Help coordinate co-op marketing programs and sponsored distributor promotions
• Track marketing activities tied to rep agencies, buying groups, and national accounts
Trade Shows & Events Support
• Assist with planning, execution, and attend trade shows and distributor events
• Coordinate booth materials, signage, giveaways, and display assets
• Support logistics such as freight coordination, packing lists, and post-show follow-ups
• Help organize lead capture tools and post-show documentation
Digital, Website & Amazon Support
• Coordinate website development and updates with outside vendors, including SEO and Google paid ad campaigns
• Assist with social media content creation, coordination, scheduling, paid ads and campaign execution
• Initiate and support Amazon marketing efforts including A+ content updates, Brand Store assets, launch materials, and Amazon advertising
• Help organize photography and video assets
New Product Launch Support
• Assist with new product launch marketing coordination and timelines
• Support creation of launch materials including sell sheets, landing pages, rep kits, and digital assets
• Help coordinate internal launch communications and training materials
Budget Tracking & Administration
• Assist with tracking marketing spend by category
• Help organize invoices, co-op documentation, and budget tracking spreadsheets
• Coordinate with finance on marketing-related expenses and timing
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience (B2B preferred, manufacturing or industrial strongly preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable working with sales teams, vendors, and external partners
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and common marketing tools
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
Preferred Skills:
• Graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Suite to create and update production-ready marketing materials such as catalogs, sell sheets, and digital assets
• Experience supporting trade shows or events
• Exposure to distributor or channel-based marketing
• Familiarity with Amazon marketing and advertising
• Photo and videography creation/edit and coordination experience
• Interest in products, mechanical tools, or industrial markets
• Comfortable with computer systems, technology, and emerging tools, including AI-supported workflows
