Our client, a manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical components in Lake County, OH, is seeking 3-5 year experienced MRO Repair Technician to assemble, test, repairs, overhaul and trouble shoot hot air deicing valves and fuel valves for aerospace application.

Competitive Hourly Rate, based on experience.
1st Shift 6am start time

Responsibilities:

• Testing, repair and overhaul of complex aerospace components.  Related military or small engine experience preferred.
• High temperature, high pressure testing.
• Experience with blueprints, schematics, able to follow work instructions and routers
• Able to work in a team environment with attention to detail, quality, & safety.
• Ability to demonstrate trouble shooting and problem solving skills and making instructional changes with provide detailed document description.
• Develop and maintain a clear understanding of FAA approved procedures and requirements.
• Teardown, diagnose and repair fuel lines
• Microsoft word and basic computer skill set
• Soldering skills
• Repair Tech or MRO experience is preferred
• Electrical assembly is a plus
• Use of hand tools

• At least 2 years' worth of manufacturing experience in an aerospace environment or doing maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps, motors, etc. is preferred.
• Automotive mechanical aptitude (fuel lines, pumps, valves) is a plus.
• Must be proficient in using standard precision gages and measurement equipment
• Experience with high temp/high pressure testing
• Should have a basic working knowledge of PC-base computer programs, including MRP systems
• Experience with hydraulics is a plus.
• Test-Stand testing experience is required.
