Our client in Cleveland, Ohio is a leader in the freight bill audit, payment and transportation management services industry.
They have an expansion opening for a Post Audit Associate to review paid freight invoices to identify billing errors, overpayments, and contract non-compliance
Salary is dependent upon experience
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Freight Invoice Auditing: Examine paid freight invoices for errors such as duplicate billing, incorrect rate application, and unjustified accessorial fees.
- Contract Compliance: Verify that invoices align with negotiated contracts, service levels, and fuel surcharges.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with carriers, internal procurement, and accounts payable to resolve disputes and process deductions or refunds.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Excel to analyze data, create KPI reports, and identify root causes of errors.
- Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to audit processes, internal controls, and carrier agreements to enhance efficiency.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, freight audit, or supply chain auditing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CASS platforms, and advanced MS Excel.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large data sets to detect trends and errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for liaising with carriers and internal teams.
