Our client in Cleveland, Ohio is a leader in the freight bill audit, payment and transportation management services industry.
They have an expansion opening for a Parcel Expert.

Responsibilities:
- Carrier Management & Cost Optimization: Negotiate rates with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS) and select the most cost-effective, timely shipping methods based on weight, distance, and speed requirements.
- Systems Management: Utilize Parcel Manifest Systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and enterprise software to process orders, generate labels, and track shipments.
- Operational Control: Oversee the packaging, labeling, and shipping of products, ensuring accurate documentation (invoices, bills of lading, customs paperwork) for national and international shipments.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze shipping data for trends, tracking accuracy, carrier performance, and budgetary compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of transportation management software, Microsoft Excel, and barcode scanning technology.
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of freight classifications, dimensional weight pricing, and shipping regulations.
- Analysis & Organization: Strong math skills, analytical capabilities, and high attention to detail for tracking and inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Interfacing with vendors, carriers, and customer service teams to resolve delays or damage issues.
