Job Description

Responsibilities:
- The Material Handler is primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging department by labeling, packaging, and bagging products for final shipments
- Prepare shipping documents and product labels
- Prepare finished goods products for final shipment by verifying that information on internal document is correct, properly labeled, and in correct packaging and box/bag size
- Accurately complete shipping documentation and data entries within the ERP system
- Manage finished goods inventory and overstock items
- Receive incoming deliveries and prepare associated paperwork and ERP entries
- Understand and follow the SOPs pertaining to the specific area
- Understand and follow the work instructions pertaining to the specific area
- Standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods
- Use of computers and digital tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day for movement of materials
- Adherence to rigorous safety protocols and ergonomic standards
- Use of Pallet jack/Forklift/Ballymore Drivable Power Stocker for transferring and restocking materials
*Experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
Competitive Pay: Start at $23/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift, M-Th 6:30a-4:30p
This role is expected to last six months to a one year, with the potential for permanent hire based on adherence to safety protocols, job performance, ability to learn and reliable attendance.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, material handling experience.
Skills: Ability to wear SCBA/Respirator, strong communication skills, troubleshooting ability, and forklift experience or willing to learn sit down forklift or tow motor.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 60 lbs., follow safety protocols, and adapt to dynamic tasks.
