Vector's partner located in Mentor, Ohio, has been developing and manufacturing advanced silicone and hybrid products for thirty years for commercial, industrial, and residential construction applications.
They are in search of a General Labor - Mixing associate to join their team.  
This Associate will be expected to assist operators with the preparation and mixing of compounded materials.  This includes assisting with weigh ups, cleaning, moving materials, pumping out mixer into 55-gallon drums, moving drums, printing labels, assisting with change outs, cleaning mixers and other duties as assigned.

1st Shift  M-Th 7a-5p; OT available on Fridays (as needed), 7a-3p
$16-$17/hr., possibly higher with prior manufacturing/chemical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support during the mixing process by helping as needed with changes, pack out and cleaning.
• Cleans the mixer, mixer parts, and mixing cans according to established processes.
• Packages silicone into the appropriate container after it has been blended, properly labels the containers, and records what has been produced on a daily production sheet.
• Provides support with housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning parts, etc.

• Reliable and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Ability to climb in and out and work around the mixing vessel during the cleaning process.
• Frequently lifts and moves up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; occasionally lifts and moves over 100 lbs. independently and with the assistance of a co-worker or equipment.
• Remains in a stationary position, occasionally and frequently for up to 8 hours per day.
• Frequently moves within the department and within the plant.
• Frequently positions self to work around, under and within mixing equipment in order to add product or clean equipment.
• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service mixing equipment.
