Vector's partner in Mentor, Ohio manufactures custom heat applied transfers that apply with a heat press to apparel and more. Their transfers are used by athletic apparel dealers, T-shirt retailers, and many other markets in the U.S. and Canada. They are looking for Transfer Packaging & Bagging Associates.

** THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION, LASTING FOR 2-3 MONTHS **

Summary
The Transfer Packaging & Bagging Associate is responsible for accurately packaging heat transfers according to customer specifications and production work orders. This role performs final quality checks, counts and sorts transfer pieces, assembles kits when required, bags and labels finished products, and prepares orders for shipment while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Packaging
*    Review work orders and packaging instructions.
*    Accurately count and verify transfer quantities.
*    Sort transfer pieces by design, size, color, and customer order.
*    Assemble transfer kits according to customer requirements.
*    Package transfers into bags, sleeves, or other required packaging.
*    Apply labels, barcodes, and identification stickers accurately.
*    Ensure completed packages match work order specifications.
Quality Assurance
*    Inspect transfers for print defects, damage, contamination, or missing pieces.
*    Verify correct design, quantity, and orientation before packaging.
*    Segregate and report defective or questionable product.
*    Follow established quality standards and procedures.
*    Maintain accurate records of shortages, overages, or quality issues.
Production & Material Handling
*    Organize completed work for efficient downstream processing and shipping.
*    Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
*    Replenish packaging supplies as needed.
*    Handle transfers carefully to prevent damage.
*    Assist with order staging and movement of finished products.
Safety & Continuous Improvement
*    Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
*    Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
*    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
*    Support cross-training efforts and assist in other production areas as needed.

Requirements:
*    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
*    Manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.
*    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*    Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions.
*    Basic computer and scanning system experience preferred.
*    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*    Ability to stand for extended periods.
